The Netflix show following the lives of affluent Asians of Los Angeles has become one of the streaming platform’s top-ranking shows. As the show’s name suggests, we see many of the main characters flaunt their money in the most extravagant ways imaginable, from closing down Rodeo Drive to host a party to a private shopping spree with Dior visiting their villa. But one of the most crucial displays of wealth on Bling Empire—one that even caused controversy amongst the characters—is bling itself. So, from Cartier classics to Louis Vuitton’s high bijoux, we breakdown some of the most important diamond-studded pieces that appeared on the show.

Early on in the series when Christine Chiu shut down Rodeo Drive for a Chinese New Year celebration, on her decolletage was Piaget’s Limelight necklace with a secret watch. The piece features brilliant-cut diamonds on 18k rose gold and a dial of white mother-of-pearl. Paired with the neckpiece are ear pendants with 123 brilliant-cut diamonds.

In episode seven, when Kane Lim and Kevin Kreider plans to visit the south, Kane mentioned that his jewellery are screwed onto his wrists. Jewellery fans will realise quickly that he is referring to his Cartier bracelets. Indeed, since the first episode, we see Cherie Chan, Kim Lee and Kane stacking Cartier Love and Juste un Clou bracelets. On their personal Instagram accounts, it’s clear that the cast members have a particular fondness for the brand.

The feud between Christine and Anna Shay is something we all enjoy sticking our noses into. At one of Anna’s dinner parties, Christine deliberately brings to Anna’s attention, at the expense of Anna’s annoyance, that she has the very same diamond necklace (well, similar actually as no two high-jewellery pieces are exactly the same). The piece is from Louis Vuitton’s Eclatantes collection and boasts diamonds and pink sapphire on white gold.

Cherie Chan is a huge fan of Van Cleef & Arpels, seen both on and off camera wearing VC&A’s Two Butterflies earrings and the Magic Alhambra. More pieces from the brand worn by Chan include the Vintage Alhambra earrings in guilloché yellow gold and the Vintage Alhambra pendant in white gold set with diamonds. Kelly Mi Tran also wears her share of VC&A. She’s been captured sporting the Socrate Between the Finger rings and the Lotus Between the Fingers, which can be worn on one finger or flipped to be worn on two fingers.

It’s no secret that Anna Shay loves Boucheron. She is firm in her argument with Christine about Boucheron being the oldest jeweller and that the house supplied jewelled crowns for European monarchs. While Christine Chiu was right that Mellerio is the older of the two, Boucheron does make regalia for the historical aristocracy.

Well-documented Boucheron jewellery on Anna include (but definitely aren’t limited to) the Boucheron Damier Cabochon bangle in white gold, paved with onyx and diamonds; Ricochet pendant earrings in white gold, set with clear quartz and diamonds; and Lierre de Paris Question Mark necklace paired with earrings in pink gold and diamonds. Our favourite of Anna’s Boucheron, however, is the Fleur Eternelle ring with 8.70-carat indicolite tourmaline with pavés of blue and purple sapphires under the flower petals.
