This Christmas month, Balenciaga has launched a capsule collection of T-shirts, hoodies, bags and jewellery expressing love for animal friends. The I Love Pets collection features intimate screened images of rescue pets owned by Balenciaga employees with phrases like “I Love Cats”, “I Love Dogs”, “Meow” and “Woof Woof”. But that’s not even the best part: 10 per cent of the proceeds from this capsule will be donated to La Société Protectrice des Animaux, or La SPA, France’s most prominent animal protection charity and one of the oldest animal protection organizations in the world.

A unisex collection for pet lovers, clothing and accessories come in a range of colours and sizes for men and women. There are also gold and silver metal rings, necklaces and charms such as ones shaped like bones stamped with the Balenciaga logo. Most items also feature a phone number that takes callers to a hotline Balenciaga has set up to offer animal adoption advice, or a website address that leads to special homepage nostalgic of DIY HTML of the 90s and early 2000s, where you can shop, play and support the cause.Â
