Including menswear, womenswear and childrenswear, the Lacoste X National Geographic capsule collection is inspired by Nat Geo’s ambitious Photo Ark project, a long-term effort by the publication to document every species living in the world’s zoos, aquariums and wildlife sanctuaries. Award-winning photographer and National Geographic Fellow, Joel Sartore, spearheads the project, and it is from his archive of over 10,500 documented species that the four animal prints featured in the capsule collection were derived.Â
