Emerging from the water this season is Versace’s Spring-Summer 2021 collection, which envisions its muses as modern Medusas rising from wet depths with fantastic flair to enthral everyone. Medusa is the ruler of Versacepolis and the namesake of Versace’s latest handbag line, La Medusa. It is also, of course, a word associated to the jellyfish, a marine creature whose mystique and beauty has captivated the fashion house and inspired the collection.Â
The campaign features the likes of Kendall Jenner, Hailey Biber and Precious Lee embodying their own take on Medusa while accessorised with la Medusa, the handbag. Styled slightly drenched, the Versace fashion icons also wear designs depicting the brand’s Trésor de la Mer motif.Â
