For our November cover shoot, we headed to the newly opened Baan Dusit Thani development, which houses three stand-alone restaurants located in a restored World War II-era compound on 4.5 rai in Soi Saladaeng. Surrounded by beautiful gardens, the unique venue offered many locations in which to take great pictures.
Our cover star, Natalie Phanphensophon, is the COO of family-owned Mango Tree Worldwide, which has 70 Thai restaurants around the globe, and Coca Holdings International, the restaurant chain established by her grandfather, which has a presence in 12 countries.
Before starting the photoshoot, Natalie was happy to talk about the challenges of her work and how she hopes to drive the company forward. The 33-year-old then rocked various outfits from fashion labels such as Prada, Diane von Furstenberg and the Ninth among others. The first set of images were taken at the venue’s empty swimming pool and Natalie didn’t hesitate to kick off her high-heels and make her way in.
From the start her easy-going demeanour made the day a lot of fun and as a result, time seemed to speed past. All of the images were taken outdoors and despite the warmth of the day there were zero complaints from our cover lady. She is definitely a natural in front of the camera and nailed each shot with ease.
