Little Market Settles Down At Yenakart Road | Thailand Tatler

Owned and run by the same people behind Jua, Little Market is the former neighbour of the izakaya that’s finally relocated to Yenakart after having been “homeless”, you could say, for the last couple of years. Originally opened back in 2015 in Charoenkrung Soi 28, Little Market served both Western and Thai breakfast favourites, such as pancakes and khao tom, at affordable prices in one charming shop with a lot of personal touch. It was their burgers though that really stole the community’s hearts and what they seem to be focused on in Little Market 2.0.

Tater tots and Little Market’s classic Steakburger

The new restaurant takes on more of an American diner identity with a menu consisting of things like the signature Steakburger and Philly Bird, patty melts, sundaes and milkshakes and all kinds of wonderful meal add-ons like fries, onion rings and jalapeno poppers. In terms of decor, Little Market has not sold out on itself. The original red “Little Market” neon sign has found a new place indoors, and the colourful bar stools and personal collection of art are both still there. That said, there are a few glow-ups. We love the new Tuk-Tuk inspired sofa seating—a conversation piece waiting to be talked about—and appreciate the new more modern, minimal and open space with plenty of windows and natural light.
