A relaxed Italian-Thai fusion restaurant, Another Hound Cafe on level 5, is serving a rich and flavourful sweet corn soup with crab meat (290 baht) exclusive to this Mother’s Day month.

On level 3 is Coffee Beans by Dao, a renowned restaurant and bakery, serving freshly baked goods daily. A must-try is the Croissant Toast (120 baht), crispy and flaky on the outside to contrast the pillowy soft and flavourful centre.

Globally renowned Taiwanese restaurant Din Tai Fung on level 5 has released a special new dish, Crispy Indulgence, made from crispy mashed potatoes, overflowing with cheese lava and served with a rich mayonnaise dipping sauce only for this month.

Located at the top floor of Central Embassy, Kay’s Boutique Cafe, popular amongst Open House regulars for serving healthy, delicious food in a relaxed atmosphere. Another restaurant not to miss this Mother’s Day is Kub Khao Kub Pla on level 3. The restaurant has introduced four new impressive dishes that include the santol fruit; they include Santol Spicy Salad, Santol Smoothie, Santol Ice Cream and Santol in Syrup. All ingredients are expertly selected and fresh from Chanthaburi.

For some refreshment during your Mother’s Day shopping spree, head to Thai tea lover’s Cha Tra Mue and try the new original Sanae Cha Thai tea made from sweet, mellow coconut flavours.

From August 10-16, a brand new menu is available at Siwilai Cafe on level 5. A highly recommended item on the menu is the Afternoon Delight’s Tea Set (350 baht), which consists of coffee jelly and chestnut mousse bar with jasmine tea ice cream, all drizzled in hot chocolate sauce and decorated with flowers and raspberries.
