Bangkok Gets Its Own Monopoly Game | Thailand Tatler

Board game fans, here’s something you don’t want to miss. Bangkok is getting its own version of the iconic Monopoly board game—that’s right, the same game you grew up playing, except with a Tuk Tuk instead of a shoe and other Thai-inspired twists. Say hello to the Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok Edition of Monopoly, officially licensed by multinational toy and board game company Hasbro. Try your hand at becoming a Bangkok real estate mogul by acquiring key landmarks and properties throughout the city. Compete to purchase the much-coveted roads of Thonglor and Sukhumvit, or see if you can afford to own Victory Monument, Wat Arun or perhaps the Grand Palace. Even Siam Paragon is up for grabs.

How to get your hands on the game? You stay at a Siam Kempinski suite for a minimum of two consecutive nights, to take home a free copy of the board game to flaunt to friends and family on game night. So what are you waiting for?

Siam Kempinski Bangkok Hotel’s Monopoly accommodation package is available from August 2018 onwards. Book at kempinski.com.
