Famous for its Piri Piri Chicken and Octoupes, Ocken has recently launched a new menu offering classic dishes with its own twist. You’ll find an eclectic mix of Western and Asian cuisines that translate into flavourful creations such as the Cavatelli, Angus beef chuck pot roast, kimchi stew, chocolate sphere and mochi cake, each of which can be perfectly paired with a great selection of crafted cocktails or new world wines.

Some of their most delicious bites include the hand roll Salmon belly—a crunchy yet soft dish made of furikake, genmai mayo and smoked salmon roll—and the sourdough garlic bread with pepper spice, rosemary salt and burrata. Both dishes melt in your mouth just like butter.

Another must-try is the Crab beignets, served with choux batter and preserved lemon aioli, made freshly every day. For the main dish, the Cavatelli will fill your carb-loving heart with ecstasy. The fresh, home-made pasta is served with truffle, parmesan and Norchina sausage, perfectly cooked in very low temperatures for that bounciness and tenderness.
For dessert, you can’t go wrong with the new Mochi cake, a fluffy matcha mousse served with strawberry yuzu ice cream, yuzu gel and bite of strawberry crumble. It’s Japanese perfection.
You can also head over to the bar and enjoy the buy-one-get-one-free deal every Monday to Wednesday from 8:30pm to 10pm and indulge in the signature cocktails crafted specially for their happy hour.
