The entrance to the ‘Wang’
Wang Hinghoi, Bangkok’s spectacular fine dining venue that houses its own firefly ecosystem, is taking its mystical nature theme further with a new dining experience inspired by nature’s four elements of earth, water, wind and fire.
Called “Elements of Life”, this dining concept is to last four months with one element featured for an entire month in the form of food and art. Launching almost secretly in January, Thailand Tatler was invited to experience the first element: water.
“Aqua Elemental Exhibition”
Chefs Nutthapol Pavapaiboon, Natawoot Thammaphan and Suwijuk Kaewsirimongkol were behind the carefully curated menu, titled “Blue Planet Set”. Featuring traditional Thai ingredients, each course is a deconstruction of Thai foods with an unconventional twist that will excite your senses. To complete the aquatic dining experience, the “Aqua Elemental Exhibition” at the restaurant’s Glow Museum invites you to ponder the relationship of the moon and the water.
Expect more matching flavours and visuals at Wang Hinghoi’s next elemental theme and as always, don’t forget to visit the venue’s signature dark firefly room to experience a true marvel of nature.
