Cartier Precious Garage arrived in Thailand for the first time ever on January 25.  Everyone who is anyone, from Pasu Liptapanlop, ML Korkrita Kritakara and Sutima Sucharitakul to Piyarat Kaljaruek, Kanachai Bencharongkul and Tirawan Taechaubol were on the guest list and arrived on the grand red carpet in cocktail with a touch of gold.

The venue, a warehouse #turnt into a glamorous red carpet scene, reflected the concepts of the two jewellery collections under the spotlight: Juste un Clou and Ecrou de Cartier. Created in the 70s by Italian designer Aldo Cipullo,  Juste un Clou interprets the appearance of industrial nails as fine jewellery, while Ecrou de Cartier uses motifs of nuts and bolts.

Adding to the creativity, Cartier commissioned New York-based Puerto Rican artist Desi Santiago to create an installation, “When The Ordinary Becomes Precious”, as a visual celebration of the free spirit of the two collections at the party. The Precious Garage theme was also adorned with standout golden landmarks, including a  gold shipping container, spectacular gold tunnel and a gold Corvette elevated on a hydraulic shaft.

If you missed this early party-of-the-year, you can still check out the installation today until February 10 at Siam Paragon's Hall of Fame.
