For this issue’s cover shoot the Tatler Thailand team was cordially welcomed early one morning to the private studio of renowned artist Natee Utarit. There we met our cover lady, Korean-born art collector and philanthropist Marisa Chearavanont, who posed against backdrops comprising some of the artist’s acclaimed works.
An elegant woman with an exquisite collection of classic chic garments in her extensive wardrobe, for our shoot Marisa chose outfits featuring ensembles from top fashion houses, as well as a selection of tailor-made dresses designed by the lady herself. It was a long day for everyone involved but there were no complaints from our cover star, who glided serenely through each shot with much grace and style, even though she confessed to being new to it all.
The day wrapped with a quick chat with Marisa during which she discussed motherhood, her passions in life and how important it is for her to give back to the society, particularly through the Chef Cares project which she recently established. The initiative provides nutritious and delicious meals prepared by leading chefs to medical professionals and other critical workers in Bangkok and Phuket who are on the front line in the nation’s fight against the coronavirus.
