Yesterday, Thai actress Sririta Jensen and KPN heir Korn Narongdej announced to the world via several Instagram posts each that they are now engaged to be wed. But not just your average down-on-one-knee moment, the photos and videos reveal a proposal so extravagant and premeditated, you’ll have to see it to believe it.

The couple, Korn dressed in a navy suit and Sririta in a vibrant red dress, are guided into an unknown empty hall by a ring of lights projected from overhead. As they stand close together in the middle of the dark-walled room, a video suddenly projects onto a large screen. It starts with the quote, “Making memories with you is my favourite thing to do.” The production goes on to show tender moments between the couple over three years of dating, and then finally Korn in real-life, recorded on mic, says intimately to Sririta, “Three years ago today, I asked you out on a first date. Today I ask you to be my wife.”
