After guest-editing British Vogue’s September issue, the Duchess of Sussex has launched her next fashion project—‘The Smart Set’, a capsule collection of work-appropriate staples. The collaboration includes a shirt by her designer friend Misha Nonoo, blazer and trousers by clothing label Jigsaw, Marks and Spencer crepe shift dress, as well as John Lewis tote bag, which was sold out online even before the launch.
The limited-edition collection—which will be available for two weeks—will benefit one of Meghan Markle’s royal patronages, Smart Works. The non-profit organisation strives to empower and provide guidance and training to unemployed women.

Celebrating with a launch party at the John Lewis in Oxford Street, London, Meghan showed up wearing a Misha Nonoo shirt and Jigsaw trousers from the capsule, accessorised with a Ralph Lauren belt and gold jewellery—Princess Diana’s butterfly earrings and heirloom bracelet.
“Since moving to the UK, it has been deeply important to me to meet with communities and organisations on the ground doing meaningful work and to try to do whatever I can to help them amplify their impact,” the Duchess said.
