Set to open on March 17, 2021 is a new seven-storey tower at The Ginza Namiki dedicated to the Louis Vuitton brand. Rising from a site Vuitton has occupied for 40 years, the new structure will contain Le Chocolat V and Le Café LV, the Louis Vuitton branded chocolatier and cafe. Expect stunning pastries and the must-Instagram latte with LV monogram foam art. As for the gourmet chocolates at Le Chocolat V, flavours have been developed by Japanese chef Yosuke Suga, a hand-picked protege of Joel Robuchon for 17 years who is also the executive chef of L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon, Tokyo. From Le Chocolat V, expect charming pieces of LV-branded chocolates that will be sold in boxes of four, nine, 16 and 125 pieces.

Beyond designer F&B, fans of the brand will be able to experience the new “Louis Vuitton &” exhibition, which will span over 10 rooms and showcase previous collaborations between Louis Vuitton and artists such as Rei Kawakubo and Takashi Murakami. The exhibition is set to open two days after the unveiling of the tower, on March 19, and will continue to run for two months.

On top of that, expect to see more fresh artefacts in the building, including the 2018 cruise collection by Nicolas Ghesquière and Virgil Abloh’s Spring 2021 men’s collection. There will also be VIP and VIC salons on the sixth floor for the most loyal of LV customers.
