From now until May 30, luxury jeweller Kavant & Sharart is donating 100 per cent of its profits to Ramathibodi Hospital, in support of the medical workers there who are tackling the virus firsthand for our nation. Owned by couple Nuttapon Yongkiettakul and Shar-Linn Liew, the fine jewellery brand has released the following statement upon the launch of this initiative:
“With the current COVID-19 pandemic putting a toll on the local health service, we are deeply concerned about the medical community in Thailand and see the need to take initiative and take a proactive role in contributing to society. This pandemic is not going away fast. It is still out there and it will come in waves. We understand that luxury goods will not be a priority right now for most consumers but we hope to reach out to all our supporters who appreciate fine jewellery and the same time, wanting to play their part for their society.”
