There will always be that whimsical part in us that wants to be treated like a princess or simply rejects the mundane restrictions of reality. Roger Vivier invites us to revisit that region deep within our psyche in “Daydream Vivier”, where desires, passions and your most foolish dreams run free.
“Dreams are a metaphor for reality,” says the house’s creative director, Gheratdo Felloni. “For the launch of the fall/winter 19-20 collection, my inspiration comes from what I think women imagine when they dream.”
Daydream Vivier guides us into a fantasy house with six rooms with different oneiric themes that can, at times, turn into beautiful nightmares. The rooms include a haunted forest, a hall of mirrors, a room full of unicorns, Madame Freud’s chamber, a cinema room projecting “Belle de Jour” and a mysterious jungle.
Reviving the past to make something new for the season, Felloni brings back The Polichinelle, an iconic collection from the 60s created by Monsieur Vivier himself. The pumps comes back in fall/winter 2019-2020 in the form of the Courbette with a newer bicolour chunky heel with curved interior. Also for this season, Felloni gives new meanings to a traditionally masculine article like the Viv Tex boots with feminine touches of velvet and satin accessorised with bejewelled buckles.

Beau Vivier Bag
The collection would feel incomplete without the Beau Vivier Bag. Available in luxurious colours of magenta, cognac, navy blue and black, the bag also features a new rectangular buckle. The design structured by Italian artisans using techniques passed down from generation to generation, the bag comes with a top handle and removable shoulder strap for versatility.
