The Victoria’s Secret show is known for frequently moving about. Previous events have been held everywhere across the globe, from Paris to Miami, London and LA. Last year’s show was staged in Shanghai—a commercial move as the brand continued to tap into its budding Chinese market. This year, the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show will be held in NYC and yes, all the models will make their way there via private Victoria’s Secret jet.
2. Almost all the Angels will be there.

We can expect to be seeing nearly all of the official VS Angels in this year’s runway show. Confirmed names include Elsa Hosk, Jasmine Tookes, Josephine Skriver, Lais Ribeiro and Martha Hunt. We’re also waiting on confirmation from Adriana Lima, Behati Prinsloo, Candice Swanepoel and Lily Aldridge.
3. As well as top models from around the globe.

Annually, hundreds of the best models go through the casting process, but not everyone leaves with angel wings. Those who have made it this year include runway regulars Cindy Bruna, Devon Windsor and Leomie Anderson, but even more exciting are the fresh faces who’ll be walking the catwalk. This year marks the debut of new Victoria’s Secret runway stars such as Winnie Harlow, Maia Cotton and Iesha Hodges. Kelsey Merritt will also be making an appearance as the first Filipino woman to walk the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show runway, marking a rather historical moment in the fashion scene.
4. Winnie Harlow is one of the models in the show.

Another big step for global fashion, Canadian model Winnie Harlow has been selected as one of the models to walk the runway for this year’s show. Constantly challenging mainstream standards of beauty in the fashion industry, she has risen as one of the world’s top models in spite of her vitiligo. Her debut on the Victoria’s Secret catwalk is another major turning point for global fashion.
5. There will also be some much-awaited comebacks.
Toni Garrn, Shanina Shaik and Barbara Palvin
Toni Garrn, who hasn’t worn her wings for the past five years, will be making a comeback on the Victoria’s Secret runway. We’ll also be seeing Barbara Palvin—who last walked in 2015—along with former regular Shanina Shaik.
6. The show will happen before Christmas.
The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2018 will be filmed on November 7, giving us an appropriately magical start to holiday season. For those who can’t make it to the live show, the event will be broadcasted on TV and online a few days after.
