If you don’t know that Gucci’s on top in the high fashion world right now,  then it’s time to come out from under the rock. Having already given us plenty to obsess over in the last six months—chiefly everything they’ve done with Spanish illustrator Ignasi Monreal (see @gucci and @ignasimonreal on IG)—Gucci, under Alessandro Michele’s creative direction, just debuted its vision for fall-winter 2018 in a psychotically chic sci-fi themed runway show that had us screaming.

Here are the 10 most amazing moments from the fashion show, thoughtfully limited so as to not blow your mind completely to bits.

We have to be honest, we weren’t ever a fan of the cape blazer trend for women a few years back. But the revival of the cut here for men is unexpectedly chic and one of the few actually wearable looks in this— eh hem— “ready-to-wear” collection.

What’s even more amazing than this model’s third eye—charming—is the sheer tulle Gucci BODYBAG she’s wearing. We’re calling it: bodybags are the hottest item for next season.

Unmistakably Bowie-inspired, this bedazzled green jumpsuit look so rightfully belongs in this collection, show and in our fashion-loving hearts.

Behold, the Yankee-lovin’ babushka. Eastern European grandmas and famous American logos were two major motifs in fall-winter collection and this is our favourite look combining both of them.

Gucci and the colour green is always something exciting (just ask Jared Leto), but check out what’s under the marvelous grassy coat: layers and layers of all kinds of granny prints. Say hello to the Gucci kimono.

Two more trends from Gucci FW18: ski masks and shoulder pads.

This idea is just so next level and genius, the male model version of it deserves a spot in this recap.

Last but not least, that is a sleeping baby dragon, people. Gucci had a sleeping baby dragon in their runway show. We’re done talking now.
