Organised by Airbnb, Juliet’s House has been tastefully refurbished by an Italian designer just for the occasion. Upon arrival, the lucky couple, who will be the first to stay in Juliet’s House since 1930, will be met by a personal butler and invited to enjoy a wonderful candlelit dinner prepared by celebrated chef Giancarlo Perbellini. Chef Perbellini, whose eponymous two-Michelin starred restaurant is a destination itself for foodies in the city of Verona, will serve a special five-course Valentine’s Day dinner. On the cards are dishes like gnocchi with cauliflower cream, Lessinia truffle and Amarone risotto with pumpkin cream and hazelnut, all with wine pairing of course.
When it’s time to turn off the lights, lovebirds will retire to Juliet’s medieval bedroom featuring Letto di Guilietta, the original bed used in Zeffirelli’s 1960 film adaptation of Romeo and Juliet. Â
