Netflix has announced that it will be releasing a documentary film about the life of former First Lady, Michelle Obama. Named after her best-selling memoir, Becoming, the show promises a never-before-seen, intimate look of her life and how it changed during her time at White House.
Directed by Nadia Hallgren, the film follows her around the 34 cities she visited to promote her publication in 2018 and 2019—an event that had the scale of a rock tour, selling out arenas across America.Â

The former First Lady shared a tweet saying she aimed to share the stories of the amazing people she met on the book tour and hopes that the documentary will bring inspiration and joy at the current time.Â
