From being a carpenter’s apprentice to becoming the only Thai to ever sketch for the covers of Germany’s MAD magazine, Apichai Bhakdibutr is an industry legend and is bringing his artwork to Woof Pack until June 26. ‘It’s still a mad, mad world’ is a collection of the veteran’s work as a sketch artist in the 80s, reminding us of a time where technology’s influence wasn’t present in the creative industry. Yet, it is remarkable how satire from 40 years ago can still be on-point today.
