When it comes to phones that fold, Samsung is definitely the market leader. Having launched the Galaxy Z Flip earlier this year, the South Korean tech company also released an updated version of its flagship Galaxy Z Fold phone in September. We got our hands on one to test out its functions and figure out whether this phone and us are meant to be.Â
The Galaxy Z Fold2 comes in two colours, Mystic Black and the more popular Mystic Bronze. Folded, the phone doesn’t exact illicit the word “compact” as say the Galaxy Z Flip truly does. The Fold2 is nearly 16 centimetres long, about two centimetres longer than the iPhone 11 Pro, although less wide. The size is fine for purse carriers but perhaps a bit cumbersome for though who hold all their belongings in their pants pockets, not to mention the 13.8mm to 16.8mm thickness of the phone when folded. Â
