Four Seasons Koh Samui Welcomes Domestic Guests With Special Offers | Thailand Tatler

Secluded on the once touristy island of Samui, Four Seasons’ private beach is now more pristine than ever. At the hillside resort, guests never have to worry about the crowd even during peak pre-COVID times. With 60 luxury villas and 10 residences dotted across the hillside, each dwelling is extremely spacious and private. As the lush haven is at its height for exclusivity, the retreat would like to invite domestic guests to experience special meals the Coral Conservation project and many more exciting attractions.

In addition to the fantastic culinary experience offered at any given time at the Four Seasons Koh Samui, a new gastronomic experience has been launched this season for the local palate. Moo Kra Ta always evokes feelings of joy as it reminds us of our best street food experiences, many of those probably shared with others. Taking this humble meal up a few notches, chef de cuisine Sumalee Khunpet uses a variety of premium meats, seafood and fresh vegetables. The set will also include som tam and yum nua, two more Thai street favourites. You can enjoy the experience at the resort’s Koh Thai restaurant or in the comforts of your room.

When visiting the Four Seasons Koh Samui, Guests are encouraged to snorkel and explore underwater treasures, an experience made possible by the hotel’s Coral Conservation, which began in 2017. As explained by in-house marine biologist Benjawan Sansittisakunlird, the aim of the project was to rehabilitate the ailing condition of coral reefs along the coast. These organisms are very sensitive to their environment and due to human-made changes like pollution, coral bleaching has become a widespread phenomenon. Today, 16,000 corals have been replanted and you can witness these beautiful aquatic beings at their finest in the resort’s vicinity.

The Four Seasons also offers more fun activities such as kayaking and paddleboarding at the beach or Thai boxing up on the hills. For those who prefer less vigorous activities, visit the Secret Garden Spa, which currently is offering massages at special prices. True to its name, the spa is located within a groove that used to be a fruit garden. Many of the herbs used in the treatments here are grown within the resort’s ‘secret garden’.
