All these fabulous domestic hotel deals have got us planning beach getaways every weekend, so right now that is time to finally let loose on buying beachwear. For men, my pick is Timo’s latest collaboration with tropical print artist Rizibe, AKA Mriz Sidah. Each pair of swim trunks named after dream summer destinations—Sicily, Miami, Mykonos, Ubud and more—two styles of trunks are available for each tropical print, Long Prep and the shorter Edition. With Timo, the brainchild of the multitalented Sappasit Foongfaungchaveng, you can always count on funky, fresh and colourful designs for striking seaside pizzazz.

A sparkly pink Chanel bikini? Say no more. Malibu Barbie will literally come to life with this ensemble from the maison’s 2020 cruise collection. I wouldn’t recommend doing any serious water play in this outfit, but a sunset dinner date on the beach? That would be more of the occasion to pack this swimsuit in your getaway suitcase.

To ensure the most satisfying beach lie, the rule is to always bring your own towel. Our pick of graphic beach towel to own this season is Hermes’ double leopard design. With the base colour of the towel matching the white sands of the beautiful beach, the felines and floral design pop and are sure to turn heads (unless you’re on a private beach, that is).

Birth year is what has drawn these two iconic brands together this year for this chic cross-collaboration that Vespa and Christian Dior lovers cannot miss. Both founded in 1946, the Italian and French houses have joined forces to reproduce a model of the vespa 946 with luxe Dior finishings. Take note of the navy blue saddle, the underside of which features the embroidered Dior motif—just like a real saddle bag! Imagine cruising in this down Chonburi or Hua Hin, along with your Dior book tote, Dior top case and Dior helmet—safety first—of course!

The collaboration drops next spring in Dior boutiques worldwide and select Piaggio Group Motoplex stores.
