The 28th marks the fourth Thursday of November and Thanksgiving. A tradition originating in the American colonies, Thanksgiving has been adopted in many countries around the world as a special F&B occasion, and Thailand is no exception. Here are places in Bangkok where you can enjoy a Thanksgiving feast with your family next week or take home a turkey set with all the fittings from.
The Anantara Siam offers a special dinner on the 28th as well as the option of a take-home roasted turkey. At the hotel’s Madison Steakhouse, enjoy a five-course feast that includes fall-themed dishes like smoked pumpkin soup, Turkey Roulade, pan-seared Halibut and warn pecan tart. Dinner is served from 6pm until 10:30pm and is priced 2,600 baht per person or 3,600 baht to include wine pairing. For those planning to enjoy the day at home, Mocha & Muffins offers a roasted whole turkey with traditional condiments at 9,900 baht. The set includes baked potatoes, cranberry sauce, sautéed Brussel sprouts with crispy pancetta and bread stuffing for eight to 10 people.

Two of the Marriott Sukhumvit’s restaurants are celebrating Thanksgiving, and you should join them. The District Grill Room & Bar will be presenting a four-course dinner for 2,100 baht per person that starts with amuse bouche, pumpkin and ginger soup with crystallised ginger. The main course will feature roasted turkey ballotine. After conquering the savoury, enjoy a selection of pies including pumpkin meringue pie, cheesecake apple pie, banana tarte tatin and rocky road pie. Alternatively, at the 57th Street restaurant, there will be a dinner buffet for only 1,450 baht per person. Satiate your palate with a traditional turkey with sage stuffing and gravy, roasted leg of lamb, oysters and salmon. Pies and ice creams are available as dessert. Both dinner servies begin at 6pm and end at 11pm.

NEXT2 Café of Shangri-la Hotel will also be offering a traditional Thanksgiving buffet dinner on November 28. From 6:30pm until 10:30pm, enjoy festive essentials such as a roasted turkey with fresh herb stuffing, cranberry compote, turkey and Pommery mustard jus. The sumptuous buffet is priced at only 1,900 per person with children aged six to 11 eligible for half-price discount.
