Your Friday nights won’t ever be the same again with Rosewood Bangkok’s new Sweet Soirée dessert concept. Available on Friday nights between 6:30pm and 11:30pm at the Lakorn European Brasserie, Sweet Soirée is a love letter to Thailand from chef Florian Couteau. Inspired by the nation’s tropical fruits, the executive pastry chef has created innovative desserts to be coupled with the eatery’s melodic background of soul, R&B and jazz and freeflow of infused gin.
Chef Florian has specifically created four delightful dishes: the Phuket Pineapple Carpaccio, Poached Pear with Lamphun Wild Honey, Blanc Mangé with Ratchaburi Nam Dok Mai mango and Macadamia Brownie with Chanthaburi bananas. Each dish is unique with its own character. The Pineapple Carpaccio and Poached Pear are refreshing, highlighting fresh fruits while the Blanc Mangé is on the sweeter side. The Macadamia Brownie, however, is decadent all the way.
