While myriad communities around the world are experiencing a new round of lockdowns, we are fortunate that the situation in Thailand allows for easier social measures and that families can gather without restriction to celebrate the festive season.

All the more reason then to see out a difficult year with some family fun— and where better to enjoy that than at The Okura Prestige Bangkok. The luxurious downtown hotel is giving families the chance to welcome 2021 in style with a special Limited Offer Oshogatsu package that encompasses daily Japanese set breakfast at Michelin Plate signature Japanese restaurant Yamazato or breakfast at all-day eatery Up & Above, plus the fabulous international cornucopia that is the famous New Year’s Eve dinner buffet at Up & Above. Various free-flow beverage options are available to enjoy with the buffet, while youngsters aged 4–12 eat for a special price of Baht 1,200 net per child. Children under 12 years of age also stay for free—complimentary daily breakfast included (max two children per room)—and families can take advantage of a check-out extension to 4pm. They are also very welcome to join the hotel’s annual Mochi ceremony at the lobby at 3pm on 1 January 2021.
