A couple of months ago, we discovered the world’s most beautiful hotel Chable Resort & Spa in Yucatan, Mexico and it’s exactly where the most beautiful restaurant in the world is located now, according to UNESCO and the International Union of Architects.

Created by well known interior designer Paulina Moran, Ixi’im has an exquisite integration of architecture and interior inspired by 19th century structures and the remains of the henequen (agave) factory that preceded the restaurant.
Chef Jorge Vallejo, whose restaurant Quintonil is number 11 on The World’s 50 Best Restaurants list, is in charge of the cuisine and gastronomy at Ix’im.

Besides the fantastically rustic interior reflecting Mexican heritage and a proven master of Mexican cuisine in the kitchen, Ixi’im also owns the biggest collection of Tequila bottles in the world, certified by the Guinness Record.
