2020 was the year of Mexican food in Bangkok, from new restaurants, vegan and vegetarian elevations and a two-week-long event that celebrated tacos. Believing that this is a dynamic moment for the Latin food scene, Arcadia foods and chef Mariana Villalobos of La Cocina Tacos & Ceviche Bar have teamed up to launch a special project named Cocinita, an endearing term for small kitchen in Spanish. Through small kitchens, Mariana and Arcadia is offering chef-led cookery classes for passionate home cooks in a cosy and intimate atmosphere. Their goal is to revive and share traditional home recipes from different cultures, in a way that focuses on creating real human connection, appreciation and simple joy.
