It started with a question. One that you’ve probably asked countless times in your life: “what do we want to eat today?” Founded by a group of friends in Singapore who were deciding what to eat one day, the next they knew they were creating one of the first full-stack online delivery models that makes food in-house, too. Named Grain, one of its co-founders, Isaac Tan, trained under Gordon Ramsay and is the main creator of the dishes on the menu. With huge success in Singapore, this online restaurant has made its entrance into Thailand since May 2020 and partnering with Singha Ventures, promises to deliver dishes with great purpose and quality.
To ensure that all dishes are cooked to order and high quality, everything from the ordering system to the delivery is overseen in-house. Grain makes sure that all orders take no longer than 20 minutes to reach customers after they are cooked. Environmentally friendly packaging is also insisted upon at the company; containers made of sugarcane pulp, a by-product of sugar production, are used. Hygiene and sanitation in the kitchen is, of course, also a number one priority with perpetual temperature checks of staff and cleaning routines.
