If you’re looking for a more laidback setting, Decanter invites guests to get “All Thai’d Up” with two hours of free-flow sparkling wine and unlimited nibbles crafted with original Thai recipes available on December 24 and 25.

Celebrate the festive season at Thailand’s highest restaurant and bar with a five-course dinner on Christmas Eve, plus a Christmas Day Brunch with spectacular views from the 76th floor of King Power Mahanakhon. Two seatings will be available on December 24—the sunset seating (5-8pm) and a second one at 9pm until late.  

Priced 3,200++ baht per person, the Christmas Eve dinner will feature special dishes such as foie gras terrine with pineapple chutney, butter-poached lobster, pork neck agnolotti, 48-hours braised short ribs and chocolate mousse with spiced orange. Bangkok Marriott Hotel Sukhumvit promises a magical festive experience this holiday season with two different events. On December 24, celebrate Christmas Eve with a splendid meal at 57th Street. The dinner buffet offers a wide selection of local and international fare such as king crabs, oysters and lobsters. Then on December 25, enjoy a special Christmas Day lunch with roasted turkey, yule log cake and mouth-watering Christmas desserts.

The Christmas Eve dinner buffet is served from 6 to 11pm at 2,800 baht net or 3,900 baht for additional free-flowing wine, local beers and soft drinks. The Christmas Day lunch is served from noon until 3pm for 1,950 baht net per person.

The Okura Prestige Bangkok’s signature Japanese restaurant Yamazato celebrates the cool season with a special Gozen lunch platter and a multi-course Kaiseki. Enjoy the Gozen lunch platter featuring a starter of five-coloured vinegared vegetables, shrimp and smoked duck with egg yolk vinegar and grilled sea bass with canola white sauce, dried miso and omelet.

The multi-course Kaiseki dinner presents an amuse-bouche of fresh yuba with okra, steamed sea urchin and starchy soy sauce followed by a soup of monkfish liver dumpling and mushroom with a hint of yuzu. You will also enjoy a selection of the best sashimis and other special dishes.  

The winter Gozen lunch and Kaiseki dinner are available from January 6-26,2020. The Gozen lunch is priced 1,500++ baht and the Kaiseki dinner 4,700++ baht. Lunch is served 11:30am-2:30pm and dinner is served 6pm to 10:30pm.

 

Enjoy an Italian Christmas dinner at Spasso with mouthwatering dishes prepared by chef Roberto. His five-course set menu offers Insalata di calamari made of charred squid, shaved celery, semi-dried tomatoes and spicy mint gremolata, followed by Fregola e Salsiccia, Luganeca sausage, fregola Sarda, chanterelle mushrooms and crispy rye bread. Ravioli di Mare and Agnello in Porchetta will also be served. Continue the evening of festive fun beyond the food with energising tunes played by the live band Legacy.
