Breguet Reine de Naples 8908

A significant period of watchmaking history is reinterpreted as Breguet presents a new approach to its Reine de Naples 8908 model—the first timepiece released in the titular collection that was originally launched during 2002. The model also takes takes timepieces for ladies to the next level, offering female watch lovers with striking designs that offer both practicality and elegance. Sophisticated and timelessly beautiful, the Breguet Reine de Naples 8908 scores on both aesthetic and technicality, with a self-winding calibre.

Specs-wise, the new timepiece stands out through an 18k rose gold case, set with 128 brilliant-cut diamonds. Egg-shaped and delicately fluted with a sapphire-crystal caseback, the model boasts an engine-turned dial, partially created from Tahitian mother-of-pearl in silvered gold. Hours are marked with refined Roman numerals, while open-tipped Breguet clock hands in blue indicate the time, alongside an indication of small seconds, power-reserve and the different phases of the moon. The new design ultimately enhances the strengths of the original, following a layout inspired by the first ever wristwatch that was designed by AL Breguet during the early 1800s for Queen of Naples, Caroline Murat.
