Pullman G’s renowned 25 Degrees Burger Bar welcomes chef Sam Chan from its sister branch in Singapore. Inspired by the flavours of the island-nation, Chan’s famous creations push burger boundaries beyond the bun. Consisting of three variations that have helped garner a cult-like status for 25 Degrees Singapore, his menu features the Glorious Chick Burger (buttermilk-marinated fried chicken, purple slaw, bacon and BBQ sauce), Bae Watch Burger (beef patty served with fresh crab sriracha aioli, calamari, caramelised onion and tobiko lemon dill sauce) and Chan’s Black Magic Burger (beef patty with Canadian bacon, fried egg, roasted tomato and Spanish red onions). Starting at 350++ baht per piece, chef Chan’s creations for Bangkok’s favourite 24-hour burger joint will be available until October 31.
Pop-Up Portuguese Dinner At Il Fumo
In the seventh episode of Portugal, the New Dawn, il Fumo will be hosting a pop-up dinner showcasing new Portuguese cuisine. Debuting the very first six hands all-Portuguese dinner, foodies will be treated to creations by guest chefs Alexandre Silva of Michelin-starred Loco Restaurante and chef António Amorim of award-winning Portuguese patisserie Fábrica Pastel, who will be teaming up with il Fumo’s chef Nelson Amorim. The trio will present cutting-edge modern Lusitanian dishes ranging from chef Nelson’s version of Portuguese rice to chef Antonio’s pastel de feijao (Portuguese bean cake). Available from October 10-11, the chefs’ seven-course dinner is priced at 3,400++ baht with an additional 1,400++ baht for wine pairing.

Air italy is to inaugurate its first non-stop flight to Milan to complete the airline’s new summer 2018 network launches. The seamless Bangkok-Milan service offers connections to Rome, Naples in Campania, Palermo and Catania in Sicily and Lamezia Terme in Calabria. The new service will operate four times a week, every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Commencing October 28, the service will be increased with an extra flight on Sundays. Flying to Milan’s Malpensa airport, the airline’s Airbus A330-200 planes will be configured with 24 seats in business class and 228 in economy class.

A 500-Million Baht Screen
Central Pattana (CPN) has teamed up with Plan B media to launch Panoramix, the world’s largest interactive LED glass screen. The 500-million-baht screen, which stretches over 3,790 square metres, is intended to turn the Ratchaprasong district into a world-class destination equal to other leading landmarks across the globe. Equipped with a Live function, it can connect to display information in real-time from other LED screens at key landmarks such as Tokyo’s Shibuya junction, New York’s Times Square and London’s Piccadilly Circus. Canada’s leading multimedia show developer, Moment Factory, has created a special show designed to present Bangkok’s vivacity under the title Colours of Bangkok. Shown every evening at 7pm, the Colours of Bangkok will dazzle passers-by with special lighting, sound, laser and smoke effects.
