Pheasant On The Menu
The tourism authority of Thailand, the Royal Project Foundation and the Ratchaprasong Square Trade Association (RSTA) are bringing a new culinary experience to Ratchaprasong’s annual international food festival. This year’s Taste It All 2017 @Ratchaprasong: The Royal Delights— Pheasant Festival features the game bird as the ingredient of choice. Procured from the best source for organic food, the Royal Project, eight signature dishes of pheasants will be cooked by a lineup of eight celebrity chefs from the seven RSTA member hotels and a restaurant— Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok, Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel, Centara Grand at CentralWorld, InterContinental Bangkok, Novotel Bangkok Platinum Pratunam, Renaissance Bangkok Ratchaprasong Hotel, St Regis Bangkok and Paste Restaurant at Gaysorn Village. As part of an exclusive promotion, KBank is offering 20-50 per cent discounts at the participating outlets.
Ice Is Nice
Spend an evening sipping cocktails at The Dome, lebua Hotels & Resorts’ ritzy rooftop bar. Using ice as the main concept rather than a side element, mixologist Sean Halse and his team say goodbye to drinks diluted by regular ice with cocktails made using flavour-infused ice that increasingly complements the drink as it melts. The cocktails are separated into three categories: Ice Granita, Ice Series and Ice Poptails. For a zesty surprise try the Fire & Ice from the Iced Granita series, a blend of Chivas Regal with coconut water and vodka over a chilli-lemongrass-kaffir lime granita. Those who prefer something fruitier can opt for the exotic Mango Sticky Rice comprising premium cachaca blended with coconut rum and almond syrup and served with jasmine-mango-almond flavoured ice cubes. For something more nostalgic, awaken your inner child with the Ice Poptails and fruity popsicles. Frozen margaritas blended with vegetable elements such as beetroot or matcha green tea are also available.
