Feminine souls aren’t the only ones in need of a full getaway from urban life every now and then, one that’s tailored to their needs of relaxation and rejuvenation. Recognising this, The Slate, a Design Hotels member on Phuket’s northern shore, has created a special retreat for those seeking more masculine means of recharging down at the beaches--whether that means blowing off some steam with a one-on-one muay Thai session or learning to how make bespoke, refreshing cocktails.
Dubbed “Hit, Heal and Heat”, here’s what’s in store in this unique luxury retreat:
For 24,500 baht for two, airport transfers from and to Phuket International Airport will be arranged by The Slate and guests will be accomodated in the Pearl Bed Suite for two nights and three days (upgrades to a Pool Suite can be arranged for an additional fee).
Upon arrival, guests will receive a welcome gift of a mini bottle of Chalong Bay rum, a small foreshadowing to a private rum cocktail workshop with The Slate’s bar manager scheduled for later during the stay.
“Hit” activities during this retreat will include a private Muay Thai class (with complimentary boxing shorts) and archery on the Coliseum Lawn. Follow up with healing in the form of a 60-minute Thai traditional massage at the Coqoon Spa with an experienced spa therapist and “heat” in the form of learning how to cook fiery Thai food at The Slate’s Moo’s Kitchen. The package also includes a dinner at the Rivet modern Japanese dining and breakfasts at Tin Mine.
The Hit, Heal and Heat package is available from August 1, 2018 to February 28, 2019 at The Slate, Phuket. For information and bookings, contact email@example.com or visit theslatephuket.com.
