Gaggan Anand leads the molecular food movement as chef partner of the Indian restaurant that bears his name. Indeed, his restaurant is famed for its progressive cuisine and ranked 3rd among Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants in 2014, as well as 17th on the world’s best 50 list. The resident of Thailand for eight years holds a diploma in hotel management from the Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology Kovalam. A fan of cricket and football, he is passionate about rock music, particularly the drums. He is married to Tripradap of TBWA/Thailand.
