Guest Bartender: Roger Yeap from Gibson Bar, Singapore

Although the Gibson in Singapore is a much younger establishment than our gracefully aged Bamboo Bar, the two share a core appreciation for classics, which is why this collaboration is rather ideal. Roger Yeap is one of Gibson Bar’s 15 esteemed craftmen - as they refer to their bartenders there. For one night only, taste his creations at The Bamboo Bar from 9pm onwards.

It’s no secret that the cruelty-free diet is gaining momentum among the rich and famous crowd. If you want to eat like Liam Hemsworth or Jessica Chastain, the easiest way into it is to learn how to make charming vegan treats. The founder of English Rose and Cook First, Amelia Stewart, is offering a tutorial of vegan, gluten free and sugar free rose tarts at The Commons this Sunday afternoon (2-4pm). For B2000, spend time with the health cuisine guru as she shares tips over tea.
