Award winners at this year's Thailand Tatler Ball toasting each other on stage

As per annual tradition, Thailand Tatler hosts a special awards ceremony during our Thailand Tatler Ball. Including the Most Stylish, Most Eligible, Best Dressed and Person of the Year, our awards are a fun way of congratulating those who stand out in society, whether through style or personal character. Here's a full recap of the winners at this year's ball. 

Person Of The Year: Harald Link

German-born Harald Link sits at the helm of multinational conglomerate B Grimm as CEO, overseeing everything from infrastructure, energy and healthcare to real estate and liftstyle. He also heads the Thailand and Southeast Asian Equestrian Federation as president and built the Thai Polo and Equestrian Club in Pattaya. Harald is also a known passionate philanthropist, contributing to numerous charities. He is married to Princess Assunta of Liechtenstein; they have two children.

Couple Of The Year: Petchpring and Kalin Sarasin

When it comes to celebrating couples and time-tested love, few can compare with the bond shared by Petchpring and Kalin Sarasin. Both industry veterans in their own right, Petchpring was formerly the vice president of the Corporate Image and Communications Department at Thai Airways International whilst Kalin Sarasin currently sits as chairman of The Thai Chamber of Commerce. 

Most Stylish Woman: Sirisopa Chulasewok

As the former general manager of Christian Dior, it’s no surprise that the stunning Sirisopa Chulasweok was chosen as Thailand Tatler's Most Stylish Woman of the year. Having spent nearly 10 years with the French fashion house, she now focuses on managing Thai dining establishments under the Nara Group, as well as multi-label fashion boutique Beige.

Most Stylish Man: Sappasit Foongfaungchaveng

King’s College London alumni Sappasit Foongfaungchaveng is the cultural curator and advisor of the Queen Sirikit Museum of Textiles, head of corporate marketing for property developer AP Thailand and founder of stylish men’s swimming trunks label Timo Trunks.  He lives and breathes culture and style and was the obvious winner of our Most Stylish Men award. 

Most Eligible Woman: Ploychompu Umpujh

Niece of Supaluck Umpujh, Ploychompu Umpujh is the current business development manager at EM District. When she isn’t busy with her duties there, she also has her own clothing line, Ploychompu Design.

Most Eligible Man: Gavin Vongkusolkit

Nothing spells eligible like a next-gen tycoon. Son of Isara Vongkusolkit—head of Asia’s largest sugar producer Mitr Phol—Gavin Vonkusolkit spends his days juggling his responsibilities as director of the Erawan Group and managing director of Heritage Estates Co Ltd, which owns and operates Asoke Towers, Ad Lib Hotel and Glowfish co-working spaces.

A Thailand Tatler Best Residential Award: The Reserve 61 Hideaway

This year, Thailand Tatler introduced a new award in our Thailand Tatler Ball awards ceremony. In response to the current boom in the high-end real estate industry, the award recognises residential projects that stand out amidst Bangkok’s cityscape. The Reserve 61 Hideaway was recognised as one of Thailand Tatler’s chosen residences for its design, facilities and level of service. Receiving the award was CEO of Pruksa Real Estate Premium Prasert Taedullayasatit.

Best Dressed Woman: Sikanya Saktidej Bhanubandh

The Best Dressed Woman award went to the stunning Sikanya Bhanubandh. The former English-language TV news anchor and current Kipling brand manager showed up in a stunning strapless gown from Poem's lastest collection “Tale Of The Luminaries”. She paired the dress with a large gold necklace and an amazing floral updo.

Best Dressed Man: Pongdej Pongpairoj

The Best Dressed Man of the night award went to Pongdej Pongpairoj. True to the Cuban-inspired theme, he came to the ball dressed in a stylish off-white suit, getting into character with a soft brimmed hat and shades. What really elevated his look, however, were the small details: a navy blue bowtie and vibrant flowers in place of a pocket square.
