It's a dream come true for dramatic fashion queens and kings: Gucci is launching Gucci—wait for it—Décor.
Under the creative leadership of Alessandro Michele, the Italian fashion house has confirmed that it is releasing a sweet collection of furniture and home wares for you to be able to make your living space just as fabulous as your wardrobe. Full of popping colours and patterns, bold embroidery and stitching and other flamboyant details like trims and tassels, the line embodies Gucci’s playfully rebellious presence in the world of luxury design.

What to look forward to
From cushions and wallpaper all the way to tables and chairs, pieces in the collection are unified by their level of intricacy, quirkiness and contemporary pop. You'll definitely find your favourite Gucci motif stamped something in the set, whether it's a striped serpent embroidered on a pillow or a fierce feline looking back at you on a tray. The collection also includes porcelain tablewares and original home scents—in the form of candles and incense—made by Richard Ginori, a heritage Italian porcelain maker that is now under the Gucci family. It's all the more reason to get worked up about the collection.
The "artketing" of the collection
While there are plenty of official photo leaks of the highly anticipated furniture, as usual, Gucci wanted to go the extra mile in presentation and commissioned artist Alex Merry to illustrate what your home could look like decked out in Gucci. Here, have a peek:
Gucci Décor launches online in September, so mark your calendar, Gucci lovers! Brand boutiques in Japan, Hong Kong, Milan, Paris, London and New York will also be carrying the collection in the fall, if you are planning on traveling and are desperate to see the pieces up close. Til then, we leave you with a lyric from 2 Chainz' Birthday Song that captures exactly how we feel about our lives right now:
When I die, bury me inside the Gucci store.
