Sutima Sucharitkul

Blessed with brains and beauty, Sutima, or Junko as she prefers to be called, is very much a citizen of the world and a tough cookie despite her and sunny nature. A graduate of the London College of Fashion, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in fashion promotion, she also holds a Master’s degree in the history of art from London’s School of Oriental and African Studies. Cutting her teeth in the professional world with a two-year stint at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art, a period of selfdiscovery that she says toughened her up, Junko returned home in 2014 to explore the country’s contemporary art scene and establish Nova Contemporary, a gallery dedicated to promoting international contemporary art in Thailand. Like her heroine, the Mexican painter Frida Kahlo, this is one driven young lady who is determined to succeed.

Definition of success: Making people around you happy.
