Prakarn Raiva

“Putting the crowd under a spell and seeing the emotions on their faces when we perform is one of the best feelings. Our fans are our biggest source of inspiration,” says the frontman of Getsunova. Prakarn and his band shot to rock stardom after their single, Glai Kae Nai Kue Klai, became the number one hit on the chart as well as the first in Thailand’s history to reach 100 million views on YouTube. A music, film and literature enthusiast, some of his favourite personalities include musicians Ian Curtis and Thom Yorke, film director Christopher Nolan and writer Malcolm Gladwell. Today, the (seriously) debonair heir of S&P Syndicate juggles touring local and international gigs with managing some of the family’s projects, as well as running the cafés he co-founded.
