Dolce & Gabbana
Well hello there, Elton John. If you’re all about theatrics and basking in the awe of your onlookers, Dolce & Gabbana is the brand you’ll be eyeing for eyewear this season. This pink pair festooned with Swarovski crystal “petals” are just one of the many glamorous looks us drama queens covet from the limited edition Tropico Italiano collection.
You’ll want to give you classic aviators or clubmasters a break once you see what Ray-Ban has in store for spring-summer ‘17. The iconic brand brings the Lennon glasses back in appropriately hippie hues. We’ve chosen a peachy pair here (to match the rosé) but this series also comes in lemon yellow, grassy green, electric blue, wine red and a vivid orange-pink ombre. Good vibes only.
Amongst a collection of sleek and industrially cool eyewear looks, Emporio Armani throws this wildcard into the mix and we’re catching it. The EA 2054’s colourful enamel detail on the round frames reminds us of Portuguese tiles and our neverending need to be on vacation.

This new design from Coach takes us back to the Old Hollywood era when cat-eyes were the trend for spectacles. The translucent khaki and black colour combo demand attention by sheer classic elegance, while a slightly softer version of the cat-eye frame keeps contemporary appeal.
Speaking of Old Hollywood, this pair is named Gregory Peck - swoon - and is a part of Oliver People’s 30th anniversary capsule collection. Celebrating the brand’s quirkiness and Californian identity, notice that the acetate rims feature the impression of palm fronds, rather than the usual nebula. Yet again, another pair of shades taking us somewhere glam.
