After six years at Chloé, in January it emerged that British designer Clare Waight Keller had quit, and now, six weeks later, thanks to an official tweet, we now know that she's heading to one of the world's most storied French fashion houses—Givenchy, where she will serve as its creative director.

Replacing Italian designer Riccardo Tisci—who was in the position since 2005, Waight Keller will be bringing a remarkable track record and understanding to the role. As well as Chloé, she has worked at Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren and Gucci and has operated alongside the likes of Tom Ford, Christopher Bailey.
