Evident is Niki de Saint Phalle’s well-known use of oddly intriguing body shapes and boisterous contrasting colours in a play of lace, silk, leather and plastic. Making an additional reference to Marc Bohan and his illustrious years with Dior, a playful femininity is woven into the collection, the outcome of which is an exuberant, eclectic and vibrant line with a touch of the 60s that celebrates the diversity of femininity and the captivating balance between the traditional and ultramodern.
