Earlier this month, Penfolds debuted its Max’s Speakeasy pop-up bar in the heart of Bangkok for just five days. For the first time in Southeast Asia, the Australian winery came to pay homage to Penfold’s first chief winemaker Max Schubert, who left a heritage for the antipodean wine industry. Thai A-lister and wine connoisseurs such as Kanidtha Daroonnate, Jarosphan Svasti and Dermphan Yoovidhya gathered to celebrate the wine master at a clandestine location, which we'll hint is a heritage building next to a fashionable hotel in Sathorn.
