On September 3, over 500 guests gathered to celebrate one of the regions’ most highly-anticipated hotel openings—the Waldorf Astoria Bangkok. Marking the debut of Hilton’s luxury hotel chain in Southeast Asia, the hotel rises amidst the bustling hub of Ratchaprasong intersection, boasting opulent interiors by renowned Hong Kong architect Andre Fu, under the ownership of Magnolia Quality Development Corporation Limited. A star-studded event was held to commemorate the remarkable new addition to the Bangkok cityscape, graced by HE Weerasak Kowsurat, the Minister of Tourism and Sports, as well as top society names such as ML Piyapas Bhirombhakdi, Gunnigar Virojanavat and Prakarn Raiva.
Guests were greeted by a spectacular floral mannequin and dazzling light display upon entering the hotel, followed by entertainment in the form of stunning dance performances in the Magnolia Ballroom. Three of the highlight dining destinations in the property—Front Room, The Brasserie and Bull & Bear—provided a dine-around experience, and the event came to a finale at The Loft and the Champagne Bar, where guests partied the night away to the backdrop of city lights and live DJ performances.
