Positive energy filled the Thai Polo Equestrian Club as B.Grimm Group hosted their annual polo charity—Carrier-B.Grimm Thai Polo Open 2018—for the 12th time. Aimed at raising awareness of internationally talented polo players who compete for the prestigious HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Cup, the event boasted a full day of entertainment and fun, with proceeds donated to Chitralada School.  Highlights of the event included charity kiosks, raffle games, free haircuts and relaxing foot massages, but most special of all was the century-old polo tradition of stomping divots.

Royal Pahang—led by HRH Prince Mohamad from Malaysia—ultimately triumphed over Axus from China in the final match with a score of 6 to 4, winning the tournament. Meanwhile, in the best attire competition, Best Dressed went to Sasiwimon Daratanaroj and Best Total Look to Patchara Durungpisitkul. Spotted at the event was guest of honour, Thailand’s Argentinian Ambassador Maria Alicia Cuzzoni de Sonchein, along with leading celebs such as Nunthinee Tanner, Supadej Poonpipat and Lee Puengboonpra. HRH Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana also graced the event on the tournament’s final day. At the dinner party held after the event, all VIPs were treated to food and drinks to the beautiful sound of the Bangkok Symphony Orchestra (BSO) and, momentarily, fireworks.
