On March 2, HRH Maha Chakri Sirindhorn graciously presided over the opening ceremony of The 52nd Diplomatic Red Cross Bazaar at Royal Paragon Hall. Hosted by the Thai Red Cross Society and the spouses of diplomats in Thailand, the charity bazaar this year was joined by vendors from 57 countries. High society attendants of the two-day event, including ML Auradis Snidvongs, Khuning Kingkaew Uathavikul and Khunying Songsamorn Gajaseni, got their picks of imported commodities, from Bulgarian rose scented soaps and lotions to Norwegian salmon and Mongolian cashmere.

In addition to the showcasing of national products, there were also special zones like the Lucky Star game and the International Food zone allowing visitors to enjoy selections of dishes from all over the world, as well as the performance of sensational Thai period drama Buppesannivas. Funds raised from the Bazaar were passed to HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn to support the Thai Red Cross Society.
