After its grand unveiling at the Paris Motor Show in 2016, the latest Ferrari GTC4 Lusso T has finally come to Thailand. The first four-seater in Ferrari history to be powered by a formidable turbo-charged V8 engine, Ferrari’s newest family member is expected to completely change the grand touring scene, with an elegant combination of optimum comfort and thrilling speeds.
Elite Thai Ferrari fans got to experience the GTC4 Lusso T firsthand at an exclusive test drive event held in the scenic Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park by Cavallino Motors, Thailand’s only official Ferrari importer. Lasting six days, the event provided supercar-loving families with the opportunity to try out the new Ferrari against the backdrop of beautiful coastal plains, stunning limestone mountains and picturesque offshore islands. Here's a visual summary of the "Esperienza Ferrari" in Khao Sam Roi Yot:
Following the event’s concept of “driving, nature and leisure”, the special guests headed to Sam Roi Yot ("Three Hundred Peaks") in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, where they checked into X2 Kuiburi Hotel and enjoyed a sunset-lit welcome dinner
The exclusive Ferrari test driving experience began the next morning on two natural trails crisscrossing through an exquisitely dense mangrove forest (part of a project under the Queen’s patronage to protect local mangroves). Filled with charming creatures such as porcupines, chipmunks, and even kingfishers, the forest route proved a fun and exciting experience for the VIP guests.
Drivers got to experience taking the GTC4 Lusso T for a spin along the scenic beachside as well, for lunch at Pranburi's Brassiere Beach Resort. Organized so that guests would get to feel the latest Ferrari on all kinds of terrain, the course also included one of Sam Roi Yot's majestic mountain trails.
Following the success of the event, Cavallino Motors has plans to continue organizing similar diriving events in the future to offer their clients more memorable and exclusive experiences.
